Ask The Experts: Google, Bing & Yahoo Organic Ranking

on February 22, 2016

Our team of digital marketing experts has implemented a weekly series, Ask the Experts, dedicated to answering client questions regarding L2TMedia’s available products and best practices. The success of our dealerships is our number one priority, but we know that many of our clients have questions when it comes to what we do. As these questions arise, let us know what we can help you understand.

Are The SEO Tactics You’re Implementing Based on Google Best Practices Helping You Show Up On Bing & Yahoo?

When it comes to search engines, Google is the place most people go. Bing and Yahoo, however, remain important platforms to consider when it comes to an SEO campaign. L2TMedia’s SEO Specialists analyze organic traffic reports from all three search engines and work to ensure our dealers populate well on each platform. In order to do this, our specialists abide by strategies identified as “SEO best practices.” These best practices are the same for each search engine. This means that the strategies our SEO Specialists implement to help our dealers populate on Google also help increase organic visibility on Bing and Yahoo. Your dealership won’t necessarily rank in the same position for each keyword across these search engines, but these strategies will increase visibility nonetheless.

An important thing to remember about these three search engines is that they all have their own local citation listings. In order to ensure your dealership populates in results across all search engines, the information on all of these listings must be correct, consistent and complete. Our SEO Specialists focus on Google’s citation platform, Google My Business, for strategy purposes, but ensure that Yahoo and Bing citations are complete as well.
