As the holiday season comes to a close, I’d like to thank all of you – our clients and strategic partners – for making 2015 a year to remember.
As of today, industry analysts predict the auto industry sold about 17.5 million vehicles last year in the US – besting the all-time sales record of 17.4 million vehicles in 2000. That is amazing news and NADA forecasts sales of greater than 17 million vehicles in the next two years, so the future is bright for automotive sales.
At the same time, L2TMedia is continually making improvements to ensure we serve as your digital marketing experts. Some highlights from 2015 are as follows:
- Increased overall impression share for our clients by 41% which resulted in more qualified traffic and leads
- Increased the average search position by 12% which means you are receiving better positioning on the search result pages on an ongoing basis
- Click-thru rates increased by 20% resulting in more eyeballs on your inventory
- Launched Dynamic Display and Facebook advertising which provides more targeted ways to reach your customers
- Launched ongoing education for you, including our blog and webinars, providing tips and techniques to better utilize digital marketing
As a Google AdWords Premier SMB Partner, we tested new Google products and provided feedback to Google. We also hosted Google Digital Luncheons in New York and Chicago and look forward to hosting more of you at events in 2016.
We launched Facebook Advertising and Dynamic Display ads in 2015. Dynamic display ads are a great complement to your existing display campaigns, allowing you to reach in-market shoppers with your specific inventory. If you’re attending Digital Dealer in Orlando this month, hear L2TMedia’s Nicole Gignac and Dena Poulos speak on advanced display tactics, including Dynamic Display ads (1:30 p.m., ET, Wed. Jan. 20). And Facebook ads has some amazing targeting tools to hit in-market shoppers in the largest social space – in 2016, Facebook will reach 161 million out of the overall universe of 180 million social media users.
In 2015, we attended both Digital Dealer conferences, NADA, DrivingSales Executive Summit, JD Power Automotive Marketing Roundtable and Kain Automotive Digital Success Workshop. Many of you learned new tips and techniques from our presentations at these summits. In addition, we shared our expertise with you as part of our newly launched L2TMedia webinar series.
