Toyota hosted a number of incredible displays at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, including a Chicago White Sox-inspired Toyota Highlander and a replica of the Toyota Camry model driven by NASCAR driver Kyle Busch.
But its most interactive and informative presentation took place on the Toyota 360 Stage, where auto show attendees could win prizes, hear from Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, and get a sneak peek of the highly-anticipated 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE.
Who Knows Toyota Best?
Do you know which Toyota model gets the best fuel economy? How about which Toyota model is the best-selling car in America?
These were just a few questions audience members were asked during the “Pick A Side” game show portion of the Toyota 360 Stage Show. Two members were selected to face-off, with the winner receiving one-of-a-kind Toyota merchandise. Audience members were also given prizes for helping the participants.
Special Appearance from Laurie Hernandez
Toyota 360 Stage Show attendees were also treated to a special televised video call from two-time Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez. The “Final Five” athlete shared how Toyota vehicles have improved her driving experience and which models were her favorite. Apart from Hernandez, Toyota sponsors 31 Team USA Olympic athletes and several athletes from the Special Olympics as well.
2021 Toyota Highlander XSE Debut
At the end of the Toyota 360 Stage Show, audience members were treated to an up-close look at the new 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. Unveiled on a rotating platform, the new Toyota Highlander XSE sported new, aggressive styling and 20-inch wheels on the outside, while on the inside, the seats were decked in red and black leather upholstery with red stitching on the dashboard.
All in all, Toyota definitely pulled out all the stops at this year’s Chicago Auto Show, hinting that even more updates and surprises are coming later this year. Stay tuned to see what else is in store!
